This quarter-turn shut-off BALL valve works exactly as described onlineand it was VERY EASY to turn the handle by hand every time.It was trivially easy to install by hand (i.e., to connect it to BOTHthe US STANDARD 0.5-inch showerhead and 0.5-inch shower PIPE).-- NO wrenches needed.IT INCLUDES Teflon tape and it was leak-free when connectedto the US STANDARD 0.5-inch shower PIPE.It provides 0-100% water-flow control with a simple 90-degree turn of the handle.When it’s open 100%, its relatively LARGE opening does NOT restrict the water flow.I can’t judge its durability; valves like this typically should last at least 5 years(I’ll update my report if it ever fails prematurely).-- For example, we've been using a YOO.MEE BALL valve (ASIN B06XQJN6F8)without any problem over the past 5 years.I definitely recommend this ball valve.

These replacement drain valves were exactly what I needed. They were easy to install and work as they’re supposed to. They are well-made, and or easy to turn on and off.
