These small rulers are awesome and work so good. They have the slider to help you mark your desired length. The little cuts help it from sliding which works perfect. I do a lot of hems and I use these everytime. The measurements on these are accurate as well.Great for money! Easy to use

The quality of this metal hemming tool is very poor. The sliding mechanism doesn't stay in place. I really wanted to like the plastic ruler but it was also a disappointment. I will throw both away. The marking pens are very thin and hard to use. Overall a total waste of money. In this case I got what I paid for.

The metal gauge is in super thin, got to be careful in not destroying it.Plastic gauge is a little better, but still go steady with it.And 4 pen refillsYes it's cheap, but even so would have cost a few cents to make,If your want something to last longer than a few projects, better look elsewhere

Great tools for anyone that sews. The ruler is easy to use and numbers are easy to see.

1) The item description said the package included a fabric marker and refills, but it only included the pen’s refills but not the pen casing itself. These cartridges don’t fit my other pen casing, so the ones provided in this kit are useless (see the length of the blue ink refill on the far left for my other pen). In fairness, the product picture only showed the 4 replacement ink cartridges and not a complete pen with its casing, but I was focused on the text description provided2) The two ruler / gauge tools are awesome just as they are. I would make one recommendation on the small yellow T- squarish caliper. On the top of the ‚T‘, zero inches is at the end of the tool on that end. which is logical, but if you want to make a continuous straight line without a break, you need to start from the other end but zero is not marked and should have some mark on the plastic to indicate zero or where to start measuring a line. Note, in my picture, I wrote this in.

Love that it came in a zip-up pouch bag, it makes it easy to store when you are done so it's not scattered everywhere. Happy it came with 2 gauges in case you misplace or lose one.

Very flimsy and fragile. It gets the job done but you get what you pay for.
