2 Ton Snatch Block with Chain
This snatch block w/ chain extension is a must have for two reasons. First of all it reduces the weight of your load on your winch cable in half! And you can re-direct the direction of your line. The drop-side design is fast & and easy to use. The heavy duty shackle swivels 360 degrees.

DROP-SIDE DESIGN
It is possible to remove one side by taking the pin off, slip in the winch cable.
1. PARK ON A FLAT,STABLE SURFACE WHERETHE TOW TRUCK WILL NOT BE INTERRUPTED
2. ATTACH THE CHAIN AND GRAB HOOK TO ASTRONG,STURDY, STABLE ANCHOR POINT.
This must be a tree or something else, not the tow truck or the wrecked vehicle. Either loop the chain around the anchor point and connect the chain to itself with the hook, or connect the hook of the chain to the anchor point directly.
3. DISENGAGE THE CLUTCH ON THE TOW TRUCK
Pull the wire rope from the winch and thread it through the snatch block. lf the wire rope is too thick, you can swap out the snatch block's case with one that accommodates a thicker spool.
4. ATTACH THE END OF THE WIRE ROPE TO A GRAB HOOK OR RTJ HOOK END-FITTING.
Then, connect that end-fitting to the under carriage of the vehicle you want to tow. lf there are no connection points, loop a recovery sling or tow strap around part of the frame of the wrecked car to attach it.
5. TURN YOUR TOW TRUCK'S ENGINE ON ANDBEGIN WINCHING
Let the electric winch pull its wire rope cable through the snatch block to successfully tow a wreck out from where it's stuck.

I like the fact that the chain was on it. I was wandering if I could get the chain assembly separate and longer. Thank you for a good product.
