I was doing an install and needed to get my wires across an attic space that I wasn't able to get around myself. These did exactly what they were designed to do. The magnetic end worked well for me to be able to grab it from the opposite side once I had it pushed through.

Those 'glow rods' do not glow in a dark, in spite of glowing reviews by seven 'vine' 'experts'.Pretty rigid - one may have issues going around the bend.
