I purchased this selfie stick for its long length, light weight, and the inherent strength/stiffness of a Carbon fiber product.This selfie stick is best suited to 360-degree action cameras. But I was hoping I could adapt it for use with my phone with some simple modifications.It is extremely long. And is you attach optional tripod support legs it will easily extend from the floor up to the ceiling of an 8' tall room.I measured the weight of my Selfie Stick at 388 grams. Heavier than some lightweight Selfie sticks but it offers a longer length; tighter joints between extending segments and overall, less flex than other selfie sticks I've used - especially at long lengths.Beyond the use with 360-action cameras I was hoping to be able to use this Selfie Stick with my Phone. In some situations, it's nice to have both the 360 view and the option of a more traditional Selfie provided by my Phone. The alternative is buying two sticks which would be expensive. And I would have to bring two sticks on my trips. Definitely something I would like to avoid.To mount a phone to this stick you would need an adjustable angle phone holder. This adds a small amount of weight but very minimal. The attachment is simple, and the holder is relatively cheap.Unfortunately, when I connected my phone holder and phone to this stick the final section of this Selfie stick which features the ¼” threaded connection post can rotate. So, when you extend the Selfie Stick out horizontally the camera/holder weight will cause the final section to rotate, putting the camera upside down. Not always if you are really steady but it can happen easily.In a pinch this Stick can be used with your phone if set up as explained above. But be aware, the phone can rotate in the middle of the process to the inverted position, especially when the phone is mounted in the top-heavy portrait orientation.Truthfully, this Selfie Stick really isn't very useful with a Phone and holder.This is a nice Selfie Stick that works great with a 360-degree action camera. Using the extra length provided you can extend the camera more than 8’ up from where you are holding it. This delivers an unusual perspective and a large field of view.The Selfie stick is built very well from large diameter carbon segments. It is lightweight, stiff and resists flexing better than aluminum. The price is not inexpensive, but I think the combination of the advanced carbon fiber construction and the unusually long extension is worth the expense. I would recommend it for these types of cameras.Note attaching a simple, low-cost ball head and a tripod base to the stick increases its usefulness as a lightweight tripod. See attached pictures.

Don't use on motorcycle first ride out hit a small bump on the interstate not even extended out lost my new 2 day old insta 360 x4 8k very upset right now

Extending out almost 10', this Brave Heart carbon fiber selfie stick is strong, sturdy and a pleasure to use. It's built tough and can stand up to professional use.It's lightweight compared to other selfie sticks that don't use carbon fiber and because of the weight reduction I can hold it outstretched for longer periods of time before my arm begins to hurt.Buying a quality tool like this selfie stick is always more rewarding than saving a few bucks on an inferior tool.

This unit is light and surprisingly stable once extended but there is no way this is 3 meters and you also will not want to attach anything substantial to the smallest extension sections. You should expect about 2 meters of useful extension if you want to maintain confidence.
