Product Description

-
How much melted wax is needed to fill one daisy mold cavity?
Each daisy flower cavity requires approximately 0.6 ounces (17 grams) of melted wax to fill completely. This precise amount ensures the intricate petal details are fully captured without overflow.
-
How long does it take for the melted wax to set in the mold?
For most paraffin or soy waxes, allow 1–2 hours at room temperature (68–72°F/20–22°C). If using rapid-cooling wax or placing the mold in a fridge, it may set in 30–45 minutes. Avoid moving the mold until fully hardened to preserve details.
-
Can I add color or fragrance to the melted wax?
Yes! Add liquid candle dye (up to 1% by weight) or fragrance oil (6–10%) to melted wax. Stir gently to avoid bubbles. For layered colors, pour shades at intervals, letting layers partially set (10–15 mins) for a gradient.
-
What’s the best way to remove a candle from the mold?
Gently flex the mold to loosen edges, then invert it. If stuck, freeze for 5–10 minutes to shrink the wax. For tough cases, use a butter knife to gently pry along the seam (avoid sharp tools).
-
Can I use beeswax or specialty waxes with this mold?
Yes! The flexible silicone works with beeswax, coconut wax, palm wax, etc. For sticky waxes like beeswax, coat the mold with silicone spray or oil before pouring. Test a small batch with unconventional waxes first.
