I got these bulbs to replace an couple of old CFL (helix) style in my garage door opener. It's funny - I had just been thinking to myself that the light being cast by the opener wasn't very bright, and a few weeks later, I saw these bulbs. They are A19 with an E26 base, which means they are shaped pretty much like an old incandescent bulb. It is a 12W LED which equates to the brightness of ~100 watt incandescent. It is said to be 1500 lumens. My observation is many LED bulbs out there are 60-watt equivalents, so this may be something you've been looking for. These are so superior to any other bulb I've used in that fixture. The light from the CFL's was yellowish, while this is a bright white. The picture of the opener doesn't do the disparity justice; the old yellowish CFL is on the left and the new LED is on the right. I see no flickering when the door is opening or closing. Although I don't plan to use these bulbs in a "damp" location, they are rate for damp location use. When purchased in a 4-pack the current price is $4-$5/bulb which, considering how long they last and how energy efficient they are, is a pretty good value.I strongly recommend.

I tried numerous times to install a standard LED bulb into our garage door opener to update its look and provide more illumination, but it constantly interfered with the remote's use. I recently discovered they came out with these and purchased a couple locally at our hardware store. They were a name brand, and the bulbs had some weight. It was the shielding they used to stop the interference emissions. These bulbs were a lot lighter, making me question if they would be effective, but they were. I have had no issues with the garage door opener sensing the remote. As far as brightness, I found them to have a brighter, cooler white ambiance vs. the warm glow I previously had. I'm happy with them, and they make the garage door openers look more modern with a cool white glow.

There is nothing wrong with these A19 sized bulbs. The description states they are "ultra" bright, but that is just marketing speak. These are typical 12W, 1500 Lumen LED bulbs that produce a sufficiently bright light that is supposed to be equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. I don't have a lux meter, but subjectively I don't see any difference in brightness between these and the 9.5W, 800 Lumen bulbs they replaced. I do like the 6000K bright white color over the old 2700K yellowish bulbs they replaced because it matches the color of the LED ceiling lights. You can see some comparisons in the pictures. These bulbs seem to be priced competitively on a price/lumen basis so I rate them a good value. They produce sufficient light for getting in and out of the garage without turning on the overhead ceiling lights. They do not produce any interference for the garage door openers or the home WiFi system, and I do have to tools to measure that since I'm an old IT network guy. All in all, they do what they claim and there is no down side, so 5 stars it is.

This is a great 4 pack of LED garage door opener bulbs! They’re a daylight white in color (6000k) and are very bright (1,500LM)! I screwed them in, tested the range from the car, and the garage door opened like normal!I was excited when I came across these bulbs as I had tried regular LEDs in our garage door opener in the past, and it made it near impossible to open the garage door from the car. I went back to regular bulbs because of that issue. But, when I saw these, I was glad to see that they now make LED bulbs for garage door openers that don’t cause interference. So far, these bulbs have been excellent, and I’m really enjoying the brightness of these LEDs in the garage. You can’t ever have too much light in the garage. Not to mention, I’m saving electricity as well! I highly recommend these garage door opener light bulbs!

Years ago I replaced my garage door opener's lights with LCD bulbs. The opener range went down to about 10 feet. LCD bulbs interfere with the frequency that door opener's communicate with.I purchased LCD bulbs from the opener's manufacturer that claim they will eliminate the interference. The range barely changed and the bulbs where dim. These garage door opener bulbs use a standard base and are fairly small. They should fit into any opener. They seem solidly built. I have no way to determine how vibration proof they are. These bulbs are 'whiter' with a 6000K color temperature, but are not nearly as bright as others that I have tried. Now for the good news: the garage door opener bulbs really do help the range of the opener. I can now open the garage door from about 100-125 feet. This is a big improvement. I don't have to rely on an add-on wi-fi remote to be able to get into the garage. My rating is 4 stars - excellent help extending the range to open our garage door, but not as bright as I would expect.

The Good: The bulbs are A19 size, so they fit nicely in the garage door opener light dome. (A lot of 100W equivalents are A21 size, which are larger.)The 6500K color is very white. The So-So: The listing claims of 1500 lumens seem a bit exaggerated. I replaced 800 lumens (9W) bulbs, and while these are a bit brighter than the old ones, it wasn’t a significant change. That wasn’t a big surprise - as LED bulbs generally produce 75-110 lumens per watt. Since these are 12W bulbs, I would expect 1100-1300Overall they’re not bad, though more expensive than normal bulbs ($17 for a 4-pack, as of this review.)I’m still hopeful that since they’re marketed for garage door use that they’ll be more vibration and temperature tolerant than the typical bulbs. I’ll update this review if that turns out not to be true.
