Comprado a través de Fanfarria. Bien envuelta, doble caja de cartón y papel burbuja. Inmaculada.

The purchase was easy, just the quality of the guitar was not that great. The return of the items was easy and painless. God bless The United States!!!

In my search for an affordable beginner Flamenco guitar I came across the Admira Triana which was released early 2019. Strangely enough Admira still does not have this guitar listed on their site. Not sure why because it's an incredible deal for what you get! As I write this review Amazon lists this as "Classical" guitar, but that is not correct. Flamenco guitars have lower string action and a shallower body than classical guitars, which this absolutely does! Also, spruce wood used for the top soundboard are indicative of Flamenco guitars. Classical guitars are usually cedar. The one interesting feature of the Triana is that the sides and back are maple, which is normally cypress or sycamore construction for flamenco guitars. I'm guessing a big reason for the use of maple was to get the cost down but retain the flamenco sound, and it sure has it!After a day of playing I'm completely satisfied with this guitar! It has that real bright, punchy, attacking flamenco sound! Comes with a clear tap plate (golpeador) not installed so that you can custom cut however you want. Even though I am new to flamenco I have a lifetime of stringed instrument experience and would recommend the Triana to any aspiring beginner of flamenco! Additionally, Admira still does not have a North American distributor so having one here is pretty unique.I managed to get the last one on Amazon for $299, the rest are $383... that's a bit steep. You can get one on Reverb.com right now for $285 with their Labor Day sale. The list price for this in Spain and the rest of the EU is 165€ which is $181 USD. So if you figure in shipping a guitar from the EU it adds $70 to $120 to the overall cost. There are shops online in Spain, France and UK that will ship to the US and could probably get it even cheaper than here. Olé! 💃🏻
