I didn't find this useful for quilting. It will allow you to cut a single sized triangle easily, that is true. But to cut multiple sizes you have to mark a line and then hope you cut straight. Not ideal for piecing a quilt. If you only need one size triangle this might work for you. If you want it for the multiple sizes, not so much.

This is a very nice ruler. The acrylic has nice smooth edges and is crystal clear with easy-to-read markings. I wish the acrylic was a little thicker but compared to others, it’s offered at a good price so I’m happy with it.
