This tripod stick is perfect for videoing kids school programs. This is a great way to make sure you can keep your hands free and prevent shaking. I really like that it comes with a remote that uses bluetooth to take pictures remotely. I usually just use my watch though. This is great for taking pictures when you don’t want to ask someone to take your picture or if you just need something to get a shot with beautiful settings. It’s lightweight and easy to fit into your purse or bag. I had some trouble trying to open it up the first few times but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually super easy. It also extends really tall which is great for group photos or if you need to take a pic of something at eye level or higher. This has been such a lifesaver and I wish I got it sooner. Great gift too!

This tripod stick is an excellent tool for capturing steady videos and photos, especially for events like school programs. It allows for hands-free recording, reducing shake and improving overall video quality. The included Bluetooth remote is a convenient feature for taking pictures remotely, though many users may prefer using their smartwatch for similar functionality. One of its best qualities is its portability—lightweight and compact enough to fit into a purse or bag. While the initial setup may take a bit of practice, it becomes easy to use after a few tries. The tripod extends to a significant height, making it ideal for group photos and capturing shots at eye level or higher.Build quality is another strong point. When collapsed, the tripod feels sturdy and well-made, avoiding the flimsy feel of cheaper models. The phone clamp is secure yet easy to use, accommodating even larger phones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, at full extension, stability decreases slightly, making it less reliable in windy conditions or precarious locations. The versatility of this tripod/selfie stick combo adds to its value. The tripod legs double as a comfortable handle for handheld shooting, and the telescoping arm provides a range of positioning options. Extending and retracting the arm requires some effort, but this contributes to its firm and stable feel. The Bluetooth remote is user-friendly, with a simple switch to activate pairing. Connectivity is seamless, making remote photo-taking a breeze. However, the phone attachment piece may shift slightly if the phone isn't perfectly centered, which could be an issue for smaller phones or those with side buttons.Overall, this tripod/selfie stick is a well-built, practical tool for a variety of photography needs. Its ability to reach up to 6 feet while maintaining solid support makes it a great choice for casual users and content creators alike. While it has minor drawbacks, such as occasional instability at full height and a tight extension mechanism, its convenience and versatility make it a worthwhile investment.

This is exactly the type of tripod I’ve been looking for for my phone to take pictures while I’m traveling. The smaller tripods are OK but I always found myself having to elevate them on a bench or something like that. This literally goes to 6 feet tall, has great functionality and it’s easy to use. I was also impressed at how small it collapses to making it easy to just toss into a suitcase or backpack. The remote control was a nice touch and works well with my iPhone. Great price for the value, highly recommend.

I recently purchased the gliship 72" Phone Tripod Selfie Stick and found its foldable design quite convenient. When collapsed, it measures about 14.3 inches, making it easy to carry around, and it extends impressively to approximately 70 inches. The aluminum alloy pole ensures the tripod is both durable and lightweight, which is perfect for travel. The product comes with a Bluetooth remote for remote operation. However, the remote feels somewhat fragile compared to the sturdiness of the tripod itself. The tripod is solid and the extension rod is strong, which is great for taking larger group photos and wide-angle shots.I tested it with an iPhone ProMax in a medium-sized thin case. It was a bit challenging to fit the phone in, but once in place, it stayed firmly. However, the tripod tends to tip over if the device isn't balanced properly when fully extended. It becomes stable when not at its maximum height.Using it as a selfie stick, the remote worked perfectly, and the extended length provided more flexibility. However, the combined weight of the phone and device makes it heavy for frequent use.In summary, the gliship 72" Phone Tripod Selfie Stick is a reliable and sturdy option for photography enthusiasts, though some aspects like the remote's fragility and the weight might require consideration.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-built this tripod is. When fully collapsed, it feels sturdy and solid, not flimsy like some other tripods in this price range. The built-in Bluetooth remote is a great touch, and I really appreciate that there’s a designated holder for it on the tripod itself—no more worrying about losing it.The phone clamp is another highlight. It fit my large phone (even the iPhone 16 Pro Max) without an issue. The clamping force is just right—secure enough to hold the phone firmly in place but not so tight that it’s a struggle to mount or remove it. When collapsed, the whole thing is compact enough to fit easily into most backpacks, and it even slides nicely into a water bottle holder on the side of a bag.At full height, though, it does lose some stability. I wouldn’t trust it in strong winds or near an edge where it could potentially tip over. But at moderate and lower heights, it feels secure enough for regular use. The ability to use it as a selfie stick is a major plus. The way the tripod legs act as a handle, combined with the telescoping rod and adjustable phone angle, makes it super versatile. If I had to nitpick, I think the price could be about $10 lower, but overall, it’s worth it for the quality and functionality.
