Very good quality. UL listed. I paid more knowing that this was UL as most are not. Installing it was easy.

I installed this for a customer that had a portable standby generator. It mounted easily. I had to study it a bit to understand how it functioned. Unlike an automatic transfer switch that completely replaces the existing breakers this unit leaves the existing breakers in place and switches from them to the breakers in the transfer panel. Great panel for a great price.

The product had 10AWG wire but my line run had 8awg. By code I cannot place a smaller guage wire on it. It took way too much effort but I was able to upgrade it to 8awg to meet code. Reasonable price, but check wire diameters of your existing lines before you buy.

Liked the top metal piece you use to hang the unit by one screw, then you don’t have to hold the unit in one hand while fishing all those wires through into your breaker panel.once you have all the wires through, just slide the unit level tighten that screw and add the others to secure it to the backer board and you are all set to wire! Made life a LOT easier. All wires are numbered so wiring was a breeze.

Works as described. However If installing this in Ontario you CANNOT make the connections in your breaker panel as instructed in the manual and many youtube videos. You must install a junction box and run all your selected circuits to it. I was told this by the ESA inspector. This is alot of extra work. Consider getting the generlink instead. I would of, had I known this was required

Nice product. Mounts cleanly and conveniently switches power on up to 10 circuits between line and generator. My neighborhood has underground utilities, but the feed into the neighborhood is above ground. We're on the end of circuit that doesn't have much in the way of a redundant feed. I have, on occasion, been without power for up to three days. My new setup is a 16 HP 7500 Watt (continuous) 240 VAC generator running through a PB30 four-conductor 30 Amp connection point on the outside of the house. The PB30 leads to this transfer switch in my basement. In case of a power outage I can switch off the main breaker, crank up the generator, selectively switch over the loads and run my furnace, refrigerator, kitchen outlets (small appliance) and all the lights in 6 rooms in my house and still have headroom to accommodate inrush current. The meters allow me to check the load balance between the two 120 VAC legs, which is useful. I bought the hardware and paid an electrician to install it. I also insisted on permits so there won't be a problem selling the house with this modification. Testing is now complete and I'm VERY satisfied.

All components are high quality. Easy to change out breakers to any capacity. After looking for months, this is best of the best.
