These insulators do NOT work as lower coil insulators as mentioned in another review. The inside diameter is too small and won't fit properly in the coil seat of the lower control arm. Even if you tape it during install (as mentioned), the insulator will eventually fall out of place as the coil also moves around while driving, especially going over bumps, uneven surfaces or off road.I believe this is the reason GM did away with the lower insulator on the 99-06 1500 series trucks...but I wanted to help protect my lower control arms as I just got them replaced because the orignal LCA were cracked at the coil seat (not sure if this is normal/expected on a 20yr old truck). I couldn't find the original lower insulators (coiled/slotted looking rubber that fit on the coils).

Well made, I taped them with one wrap of electrical tape to hold them in place so they wouldn't slip as I put the spring in. I think the barrier between these and the frame will make a difference.

But , write up made it sound like it was for regular coil springs when in fact it is for struts. Amazon handled it.

Fit perfectly on top of my 2000 silverado front springs. It stopped my squeaking.

When looking at the design of the two front coil springs I have for my truck, I figured on ordering four of these ACDelco insulators to see if they would fit both the top and bottom of the coil springs. Sure enough they do. Hope this helps on preventing the annoying squeaking while driving.

I purchased these when I replaced the front springs on my 2000 Sierra. The old ones looked fine when I pulled them out but after 18 years I thought I should replace them. The don’t cover the top of the spring like the originals but I don’t have any noises so they work
