We have two granddaughters who play volleyball. The older one is a starter on her high school team and does rec league play in the Spring and early summer. She has a ball with her at all times. She actually has a similar rebounder at home but will be at our house lots of times since we have almost constant pool parties with all our family. This unit is made with sturdy metal poles and the instructions were perfect. A couple of my grandsons put it together very quickly. It comes with stakes to hold it in place and will be placed in the grass when in use. It also comes apart and will be easy to store in Winter. It is very functional and can be adjusted at multiple angles.

This rebound net is pretty nice. The metal frame feels sturdy and the nylon netting seems alright as well. I appreciate the five adjustable angles, as it lets you practice volleyball, baseball, or soccer from different shot trajectories. The included volleyball, pump, target marker, and carry bag are all handy to have. It does need anchoring to stay put during hard hits, and it takes up a fair bit of space when fully assembled. While it’s on the pricier side, its a pretty nice training net.

The directions said you need two people to set this up, but I managed alone. Two would have been helpful. I found the trickiest park was getting the netting stretched across, but it wasn't that challenging. It is perfect for 3 of my daughters who play volleyball to practice on, and to stop them from trying to use the house of the garage door as a bounce off point. This is well engineered, easy to assemble, and really looks great.

Setup - This came with the rebounder, net, target ribbon, matching volleyball, carrying net for volleyball, waist trainer with elastic band for the volleyball, carrying case for the unit (it’s portable), and a pump for the volleyball. It also came with extensive instructions, including QR codes for setup videos. I will comment on all of these here but focus the remaining review on the rebounder itself.Honestly, the instructions said to use two people for safety reasons. I can see why. But my partner was a 14 year old who kept finding cooler things to do right up until the moment it was time to test it, so let’s just agree that if you are focused, you can set up with one person. This thing has weight, it adjusts like it should, and is really nice and some of the pictures you see online make it seem like this is shorter than it really is. Trust the description - it’s really 7 plus feel tall. It’s heavy. I have no plans EVER to fully disassemble this for fun, however if we needed to move it does fit nicely in the included bag with some room to spare. The ball it came with was a nice gesture, but it failed to inflate spherically. We achieved the appropriate PSI but there remain some creases that leave the ball not spherical, and weird stuff happens when it bounces, and I didn’t want to allow my daughter to get reps in setting with it because its shape and weight are off. The waist trainer was unexpected, and it’s really nice. Don’t this if you are not actually a volleyball player because you will immediately look like an idiot. If you are an actual athlete with the trained reflexes ready for volleyball, this was a nice solo exercise for my daughter.Functionality - Neither my volleyball player nor myself had ever worked with a rebounder before so I can’t say we knew what to expect. At angles closer to vertical, the ball comes back FAST. We adjusted to a more acute angle and were really pleased with the ease of adjustment and the versatility of options when you adjust the angle. This does a great job with the right drill of testing reflects and response agility. My teenager can now easily adjust that angle without me even present. We love this thing. I will say you need sandbags to weight it down for harder hits. It comes with spikes to anchor in your yard, but our yard is not remotely level so we use in a paved area that is flat in our back yard.Storage: It’s big and heavy as it should be. We fold it flat and remove the pins to store it in the garage on its long edge against the wall when we are done.I can’t yet speak to durability, but this thing is getting reps and seems to be really solid. We are more than pleased with this, even with the weirdly misshapen volleyball that were not actually expecting to get in the first place. I’ve already invited some of the other hitters from club to come over and get reps.

This thing is huuuuuuge! For some reason I thought this was supposed to be portable it's too heavy and it seems very sturdy. Anyway it's for retiree's and we're more concerned their hips more than we're concerned with them breaking this item. I opened the box and felt the pieces. This won't be moved from the yard. We're looking forward to putting it to the test. It's really good quality. Feels and looks very expensive.

I can’t imagine being on a volleyball team without owning one of these rebounders. Unless you are at a professional level, you just aren’t going to get enough time practicing with your coach and team mates. This rebounder will go a long way toward remedying that. This is such a high quality product all around that I find the $170 price point to be very good value. (That’s $170 prior to any discounts or coupons). Backing up the quality that’s apparent to me is a manufacturer’s warranty for a full year. On top of that, the first thing that I noticed when I opened the box is that all you need to do is contact them and they will extend the warranty to 2 years. Of course I like the actual warranty, but the fact that they are offering this speaks well to their confidence in the quality of their product. The metal frame is heavy-duty and is nicely painted. Each piece easily slides into the next and a spring-loaded lock keeps the pieces together. The lock just needs to be pushed in to disengage the two pieces of metal. Each piece of the metal for the frame has a number on it so they can be easily and correctly matched to the picture in the assembly guide. The net is high-gauge nylon that is substantially superior to what I have seen elsewhere. This HappyJump netting should be the standard for rebounders and goals. I have another rebounder for soccer of a different brand and it looks like all it would take to ruin their product is a couple of pieces of velcro. Ditto for the soccer goals that I have. But this HappyJump net will be serviceable for a very long time. The frame is attached to the net with specialized bungee cords. These are simple to use, quick to apply, have lots of sproing, and won’t damage the painted surface.Printed instructions come with the rebounder and they are made to last. Rather than the tiny instruction guides with microscopic lettering printed on tissue paper, this assembly guide’s pages are about 8 x 12” and are either made of thick paper impregnated with plastic or more probably, the guide is entirely plastic. It’s just another example of how HappyJump pays attention to even the smallest details. On top of that, a QR code is included with your product so you can watch a well-made video of how to set up the rebounder. This rebounder can be used indoors or out, the target can be moved to wherever you want it to be, there are 4 settings for the angle, and it can also be used as a rebounder for other sports.Despite being 7 feet (over 2 m) tall, this rebounder breaks down easily to fit compactly into a heavy duty nylon carrying bag that can fit easily into your car. Also in the bundle is a volleyball and a high-quality tether. Like the rebounder, plasticized instructions are included as well as a QR code to a simple but well-done video. If you are comparison shopping, bear in mind that whatever else you are looking at is not likely to be as high-quality as this HappyJump rebounder.

It's fine for light backyard training, but the frame wobbles a bit more than I expected, even on flat ground. Assembling it was alright, took me maybe 15 mins. The tension in the net is ok but not very firm for stronger serves. Also, the yellow paint started to chip off slightly near the bottom after a few uses—not a big deal, but worth noting. Might work better for teens or beginners than serious players. Not bad overall, just not amazing either.

Package arrived undamaged and contained all the items identified on the product page.At first unboxing I was really impressed with the gauge of steel used for the frame and stand poles, they were heavier duty that I was expecting. This is a very good thing because you're going to be spiking a volleyball at this thing so you definitely don't want it to collapse every time you take a good swing at the ball.Putting together the frame was a breeze, the instructions were very clear and the parts were all clearly labeled so it was hard to go wrong. It all went together in about 10-15 minutes. Now, getting the net onto the frame was a different story, I tried and tried and tried to do this by myself but without a stable anchor point (it kept sliding around the frame every time I tried to connect the second/third point) it was impossible. I even, at one point, thought they sent me the wrong net, because it just didn't seem the right shape to fit over the frame. After getting a second pair of hands to help me it took about 30 seconds to get the 4 corners attached and a couple minutes to add all the remaining elastic cords. There are so many of the elastic cords it is super solid once you get them all attached. The included volleyball is ok, it doesn't have the best feel but it's a decent enough ball. I didn't bother with the target tape but I did add the included rubber feet because I have it setup in my garage. The rubber feet help it from sliding around but I still had to prop it up against something so it doesn't move every time the ball hits it.Functionally, it works great! The netting has a really good bounce to it, the ball come flying back ready for another bump or set. I will say that depending on how close to the center you hit on the net determines if the rebound goes straight back, more left or more right. This is actually a good thing to give a variation.Very pleased with this vball rebounder, it will get a lot of use in the off season. I also really like that when I am not using it I can fold it up and hang it on the wall out of the way.
