I have been making a lot of these alpacas in different colors using resin powder. I'm going to try and make a candle with this mold. You do need to be careful removing the head, because the ears can come off. Other wise it's easy to remove from the mold. When it gets warmer I'm going to try the epoxy resin. I would definitely recommend this mold. I'm making a heard of alpacas for my daughters birthday.

I used it to make acrylic animal mold instead of candle works great with mold release spray. Love it.

It seems like a good sturdy silicone mold however, it says it is a flower pot mold. It is WAY to small to be a plant mold. The bigger one MAY be big enough to hold a VERY small plant but, the smaller one...I don't know of ANY plant that it would hold.

This sleeping dragon silicone mold is exactly what I was looking for to add to my craft supplies!The mold itself is made from good quality silicone, making it flexible and easy to use with various materials like resin, or wax. The detail of the dragon o the stone is good. Once the mold is filled and the piece is cured, the features of the dragon are clearly visible, creating a nice final product.I've used this mold for both candle-making and resin casting, and it worked perfectly for both. Although it is a little trickier to get out of wax compared to using it with resin.So far the silicone mold is durable and has withstood high temperatures, so pouring hot wax is not an issueOne thing to note is that it requires a bit of patience to ensure that the resin or wax reaches all the tiny details, especially in the dragon's features, but the effort is well worth it when you see the finished result.Overall, I am happy with it and I would recommend adding it to your next craft project.

This silicone mold is thick and sturdy without any warping. It's also very flexible, making demolding the finished piece very easy. The design has a lot of nice detail, but that means you'll have to be very diligent about getting your filler into all the nooks and crannies. I thought I had been thorough only to discover I must have had missed the horns as there were air bubbles. Still, I'm very happy with it and I can't wait to make more!

It is my second time buying this type of molds and not being able to use them long term because they don't have the right structure...A. To cut on the sides for easy demandingB. Strong structure to hold the warm wax if I do the side cuts.C. If I don't cut on the side then when demanding the candle gets damage somehow.It should be a strong solid cylinder or square.The shape is cute but not for quantity production. I would suggest investing a little more $ for higher quality.
