I installed this product a few weeks after it arrived.At first, it worked as expected. However, there was some leaking when using the supplied fittings and plumber's tape. I cleaned the filter and re-wrapped the threads with fresh plumber's tape. The leaking at the threads continued.About day five, the unit turned on and never shut off. As a float valve, this was a total fail.

The right-angle adapter has a hole in its side wall, which leaks water in a stream when the device is connected to a water source. This is bizarre. I was waiting for warm weather to install this in my pool so I am past the return window. Now, I will have to spend the money to buy another right-angle SS connector.

I am using this on an automatic waterer for our goats. It keeps their water bucket filled with fresh water without my having to lug five gallon buckets. It appears to be well made. It shuts off the flow of water well without leaking and has so far been reliable.

I use this as a back up for float valves I have for humidifiers. It is well made and functions well, matching the other quality ones I have in materials and finish.
