I am getting back into biking as a middle age guy, but my old mountain bike from college, which is a premium brand bike, was not comfortable anymore. Instead of buying a new bike for nearly $1000, I decided to try these handlebars to adjust my sitting position to be more upright and adjust my wrist position. My bike feels like a new bike after putting these handlebars on! The installation process was easy - just a few bolts to remove, and then swap over your brake levers, shifters, and grips. Took me about 30 minutes total. The new bar was packaged well and appears to be of great quality.

Wrist pain on flat bars, try these. The shape and angle offer a more natural feel on the wrist. Just try them.

For my body and bicycle, these bars are as close to perfect as you can get. The sweep relaxes my wrists. The width is perfect for cruising and easy trails. You may want wider for more control in technical terrain. The rise helps me have a more heads up riding position which is more comfortable on flat terrain and riding down inclines, but it’s not so high that uphill is uncomfortable. The finish held up well during installation, which is not always the case for these type of generic brand bike parts. There’s also plenty of room for a full set of shifter & brake controls which is something sometimes lacking on “cruiser” style bars.More important than all of that, they look awesome if you’re going for that modern/retro “xbike” look.

I used these for an old MTB to commuter conversion of an old trek. Comfortable bars and quality seems fine for the application. The black makes them look like a higher priced bar. I think they'll do just fine.

This was a fairly easy install and I had no issues getting with cable length or getting everything attached, having photographed everything before starting. It's very light weight, a little smaller than I'd envisioned and I am unsure of it's strength or durability but it has brought to grips and brakes closer to me allowing me to ride in better form so I'm pleased. I am 5'5" and the stock handlebars were giving me problems with my shoulders and hands. This helps a lot!
