This little ax is a great value! Keep it in my truck and use it all the time. Pleasantly surprised with the craftsmanship. Nice and sharp and feels great in the hand.

First, the good: Really well-shaped head, seems to have good, properly heat-treated steel in it. Love the sheath and the shape of the handle. Really well done. The bad: bad grain orientation on the handle, and comes with a very mediocre edge. Literally nothing that can't be attended to. Overall, very recommended if you want a 'high end' hatchet that doesn't break the bank.

excellent for price point. use it all the time. have 4 gb also and comparatively it works better in some cases. get it before price gets stupid.

Beautiful looking hatchet the handle was a little too thick for my liking, but that’s ok you can grind or scrape it down, the head was hung crooked but it didn’t affect the function of the hatchet and the profile is great for splitting, I carved a spoon and it did pretty good,I bought it mainly for wood carving, I have to say this hatchet looks awesome just became my favorite, I want to thin the handle down some more but I don’t want to get rid of the Bison stamp

Great hatchet. Surprised at the quality for the price. Came with a working sharp edge and appears to be hung well. Sheath seems well made and they used brass rivet's.

Very impressed with this tool! It came extremely dull and I had to sharpen it which wasn’t a huge deal but I do wish it would have been sharp. Other than that very impressed with the handle and head. Good balanced axe. Great tool for the price point
