Total garbage. Signal is super weak, static-y, cuts out every other second, and it takes forever to even kick on after placing the car in reverse. It's a Dodge Journey, it's not a long way to connect.

If you take your time, find proper placement, the reception works really well. Still a little glitchy but is very good still

Put this in a 2003 Lincoln Navigator which is a very large suv. Some reviews said that a small car is all this was good for but they are wrong. I installed the receiver behind my radio and the transmitter inside the rear lift gate (behind the metal wall) and I have zero reception issues. Fantastic deal for the price - you cant go wrong! I wired the transmitter straight to my reverse lights power and ground wire and the receiver to my reverse wire with the camera turn on wire to the radio. There is NO delay in turn on it is instant.

I'd added a rear camera to my car and did not want the hassle of trying to thread cable from the boot area to the monitor in my centre console. I wasn't too convinced that these would work because of their price, but I get a really good picture on my monitor. The biggest issue I've had with these items is heat. The transmitter in the boot is connected to my reversing lights so it's only on briefly, but my receiver unit was connected to my cigarette lighter socket which was on all the time with the ignition and it did get quite hot. This causes the image to degrade and eventually no image at all. I simply replaced the lighter plug with a switched version so the receiver is now only on when I'm reversing and I get a good clear image. For the money the units do a good job, but they're best only briefly on when in reverse gear.

the first transmitter I have received didn’t work to the best that I was hoping but I have been able to contact camecho and they very generously offered to replace this one with one that works and I am super happy to see this one in action, I greatly appreciate the quick response and attention to customers as I find it doesn’t happen often enough so thank you camecho for being amazing to deal with

It works, but constantly recieves signal whether you're sending it or not, so you get snow on the screen intermittantly. This wouldn't be an issue if your in-dash radio didn't change to it every ten seconde to show you static. Only workaround is to run your positive line from the reverse light all the way to the reciever unit so it only kicks on when it is supposed to. Kind of makes the "wireless" concept irrelevent.

So far so good. 3 stars because it's only been installed for a say and I have a fuzzy picture at times. It's easy to install and I am using it on a Ford E150 Conversion Van, its mounted in rear door behind the panel by the license plate bracket. and the receiver is mounted under the dash by the steering column. I think i am picking up interference and will mess with it to see what I can do. If I can get it going better I will up date my review.Update 11/27/2017Update from 3 stars to 5.Great customer service. After my initial review the manufacturer contacted me suggesting it may be the transmitter as it was inside my rear door.I had enough slack in the line so I re routed the transmitter so it was right next to my door handle on the rear door. So the transmitter is now inside the van and it gets a great signal now with no interference so far. Time will tell but it gets a great picture right now with the engine running.

Worked when I tested it out with a camera and monitor about 5 feet away on the carport. But when I installed it, it didn't work. This might have been due to poor signal or not being properly installed to my DVD receiver. Either way, I decided to wire it to not have to worry about poor transmission and the company refunded my money, excellent customer support.

If you are using this for a head unit and wish to have it trigger when you reverse you will need to run a wire either from the front junction connection if you can find it or from the reverse light in the back.My connection is not that great the quality sucks. Image is distorted (static) and lagging. Wish there was a way to change frequencysWanted this so I could save time and not run a video cable through the vehicle. But looks like I will be trashing this and running one anyways.Update: The seller reached out to me for my review and offered to replace the transmitters. Will update when I recive on how it works.Up from one star to four for good customer service hope the new one will work well.Update 2: New product is actually a little better. There is no more lag. Static has went down but the quality just lacks depth. Wired a video cable by passing the wireless to be certain it was the transmitters not the camera and the image was crystal clear. These will be fine if you have no choice to go wireless, they will get the job done but im still not pleased with them.Over all giving 3 stars thats the product and the seller with their great customer service.
