Prefer this to the plastic ones! Sooo much easier to clean and soo nice it has a home when not being used instead of sitting on my floor or leaning on the wall.

Lasted about a month don’t waste your money

I scoop daily and had had it with those weak bendy plastic scoops that came free with other litter boxes. I upgraded to a metal litter box, so I wanted an upgraded scoop. This scoop is nice because it has two different types of grid. The finer grid is in the flat bottom of the scoop and the back part of the scoop, closer to the handle, has larger openings. It makes it easy to sift through the litter with the bigger openings, but pick up small items with the finer grid. It is nice to have a stand to put it in, but if you leave it out in the open like I do, your cat will probably knock it out anyway. My cat can't leave anything alone! I will always use this kind of scoop from now on. I've committed to scooping daily, so I want a quality tool to use.

We've had an indoor cat for over eight years and I have never had a metal cat litter scoop. This metal cat litter scoop is definitely an upgrade from the plastic ones I have been using (and have needed to replace several time when they break) over the last eight years. I like how wide this metal scoop is – as it takes less time to scoop out the litter boxes. I love the plastic holder that comes with it = no more needing to lay the dirty scoop on the floor or hang it up. I like the smaller mesh on the front portion of the scoop as it picks up small clumps which escaped my old plastic scoop. I am very pleased with this scoop and its holder.

I like that it’s metal. Seems more sanitary. The holder it came with is super cute but you’ll need to Velcro it to the wall or find some other way so it doesn’t tip over. It’s definitely an upgrade from plastic. But my personal pet peeve is the handle is just too short. Easy to get litter on your hand by mistake and if you have a huge litter box like I do and fill it up high then when you go to dig to the bottom you may end up getting litter on your skin.

This is a good scooper all round. It is rather thin and a bit more flexible than I'd like. But it does work. The holder is thin plastic and a perfect fit with the scooper. The holder is light weight and tips over fairly easily.

Looks fancy. The size of the holes is just right. There are too many attached parts. So, time will tell. My plastic one broke after 2 years. Some of the advantages is that this one has a holder, and a decent size. Also easy to clean.Update: ok, this is definetly the best one I've ever had. Its a keeper. Feels solid!! And its easier to work with the sand.
