The metal on this scoop is flimsy. The first time I used it, the handle bent where is was attached to the scoop. It only took a few more weeks for the handle to completely break off. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because while it was together, the scoop worked well. To bad the connection with the handle was so flimsey.

Bought this as a replacement for a metal scooper we had for years that finally gave way. Besides it being the perfect size, it’s cheaply made. It literally broke within 3 days of use. The scooper part must be made of aluminum as it bends easily. Would give 0 stars if that was an option, company should either improve their design or just stop making items that fall apart after minimal use.

Very sturdy, cuts through litter like butter. Perfect length. Not sure why I struggled with a plastic scoop for so long. Buy it.

I have multiple cats and a lot of litter to scoop and I’m always trying to find the one that doesn’t break and so far this scooper is seemingly to work which is great for my litter boxes with really big hard clumps that need to be scooped ! Love it ,I think I’ll buy a 2 nd just to have .

One of the reasons I wanted another metal litter scoop is that my big boy produces some very big clumps, and I found the plastic ones just couldn't handle it. Well, this one struggled, too. The scoop bent down from the handle right away on a large clump, but I was able to bend it back. That doesn't really bode well, because it's now weakened. The size of the slots means you definitely have to shake the scooper to get the loose litter to fall away, but you're able to get more buts out of the litter in general. This one is good and feels like higher quality than plastic scoops, but it's not actually much more durable. I'll keep hunting for the right kind of strong metal scoop.
