- TANDEM CENTER - used for double acting cylinders that hold in neutral
- MOTOR CENTER - used for double acting cylinders to float in neutral or birotational motors that will free wheel in neutral (A & B ports open to tank in neutral)
- FLOAT POSITION - when in the float detent, work ports are open to tank to allow cylinder to “float”

The Chief G Series Directional Control Valve is designed for operating hydraulic actuators, motors, circuits, etc. in extremely cramped, and narrow spaces with ease. It can be used for light to heavy applications in commercial and industrial machinery, including log splitters. It leverages valving design to offer precise fluid flow control in hydraulic systems.
Our G Series hydraulic directional control valves come in three positioning configurations.

The valve is great . but more info needs to be posted about it. Like ports are o-ring . I spent close to 1/3 of the price on adapters .
