Yes, its plastic, however it feels solid and backed by Delta, so I have no worries. Looks great.

Don't buy this soap dispensers made out of plastic and cheaply made. I returned it as soon as I saw what it was made out of.

The gold doesn’t match the faucet even though they are labeled as the same color. This is also wobbly even though the hole is the correct size and installed well. It’s just not great quality and I’m angry it doesn’t match my faucet.

Simple mechanism that works. It’s strong plastic and when we needed a new pump on the previous model (lasted 15 years) Delta sent one for free. So I guess that makes up for the fact that these are priced beyond all logic. But they have you over the barrel if you have to match the new fixture or leave an empty hole in the sink.

Surprised Delta puts it's name on this. This was included with my faucet as package deal. Didn't cost any extra that the faucet by itself. Otherwise, I would have returned it. Very cheap feeling. I think the finish matches fine, but I don't expect it will last.
