The rod was well packaged with bubble wrap in a cardboard tube. But unfortunately after the first cast and hooking onto a fish the rod snapped in half. Never had that happen with any other rod which is a bummer. Other than that the rod felt great for the price point of $60.

Nice packaging, heavy cardboard tube, bubble wrap and extra plastic wrap on the guides. Haven’t tried it yet but looks great, well balanced has a nice feel. Pairing with a 3000 daiwa Procyon and should be good to go.

Nice rod I have the same casting rod so I had to get the matching spinning rod. It came nicely shipped in a cardboard tube.

Got this for a lighter fishing set up, this has to be one of the best series of rods for its price range. casts super long paired with a last king reel and 8lb braid.... super impressed
