I had my son install the new cable on my truck, and less than a month later the clip broke and fell on my feet while I was driving. This was a waste of my money as I had to go purchase a new one that day so I could even get home!!This company should really check the durability of their product before selling before they seriously hurt someone from a faulty product.

Came on time and was the right part for my 2005 Dodge Durango. Wasn't hard to install, took maybe an hour or so. This is the second shift cable that broke within a couple of years, and doing some research found out this is a very common part to break since the part is made out of plastic and you can't get one that's not made with plastic so I'm going to order another one, this way I have it on hand when it breaks again. This way I m not stranded till I can get a new one since this part takes up to 1 week to get it no matter where you order it from, but I definitely would recommend this seller.

Went through three cables, all snapped. All of them were manufactured in different countries. Qc is awful.

Broke within 6 weeks. This is cheap plastic and it will come apart, leave you stranded in a parking lot somewhere unable to put in park and get key out of ignition. Shame on Amazon for promoting such a terrible low quality part!

I tried twice with this part but all the plastic clips brake as soon as you touch them. Part is low quality garbage. Thankfully I can return but I can’t get my time back.

So we uninstalled the original equipmentAnd attached lower on to transmission. Threaded through firewall and disassembled dash to get the shifter.Then the Dorman part female was too smallAnd won’t fit the male ball end on shifterMaking it worthless.
