Kiln Required: Yes Cone Firing Range: 06 to 6 Finish: Translucent Coverage: 1 coat Food Safe: When sealed with nontoxic, food-safe clear glaze Nontoxic: Yes Characteristics: They have a definite see-through quality, even when one color is applied over another. They should not be used for solid-color coverage, but for design work, simulated china painting techniques, plaid effects or any other technique where a shaded or two-tone effect is desired. E-Z Strokes are also the preferred underglaze color medium for outlining and detailing, including eyes, personalizing with names and dates, and accenting design work. E-Z Stroke translucent underglaze colors are most often used under a glaze.

These underglazes have amazing firing range and consistent quality. I’ve been using these pretty much since they came out and they never disappoint.

Really great results. You can dilute it with water and it still showed up perfectly for me at cone 6. Did a test tile with thick and thin and clear glaze and unglazed swatches, everything turned out really nice and crisp. Well worth the money.
