About this item

  • High friction pad for better high speed stopping
  • Zero fade race developed compound
  • Brakes effective right from cold
  • Can be used on street or race track

The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

I wanted to try performance brakes for my Jeep SRT and opted to get these pads instead of the Brembo ones. Worst decision ever! Honestly from brake noise, to brake dust, to disk warping and even brake smell… you get it all with these brakes. Changed them after 2 months of use because they ruined my calipers!

EBC makes excellent brake pads, and the Yellow Stuff are perfect for spirited driving with low dust.

Very good stopping power. Quite dusty and noisy. Can't complain as they're fast street/track pads

I've been using EBC pads for the last few years, Hawk doesn't make the compound Id like for my Brembos. They do produce dust, but a good cleaner like P21S takes it right off, and its safe for the paint on Brembos, no white spots!. I don't mind brake noise, but have been pretty happy with the nonexistent noise from these, they are very quiet for a performance pad. Note: Id still recommend using something like Permatex Spay on disc brake quiet on the backing plates. They aren't a full on race pad, but are great as an autocross or light track pad, they don't require any warm up to be effective. Id recommend them for your next pad change.

If you plan on showing off your ride around town, bring ear plugs. Bring lots of them. One pair for you, and everyone you plan on driving by. These things scream like a b*$^#! EBC has the best customer service center that responded instantly to me. They have already put out a warning that these are noisy, and depending on you, your ride, elements etc. "BRAKE IN" period differs. The screaming is supposed to go away over a very long period of time. EBC says be patient. I highly recommend right from the start, getting SHIMS. EBC sends you plenty for no charge if you ask for them. This seem to have solved the squeeling and squawking 99.9% of the time as of now. It will shut your brakes up 80% when you first put them on, and believe me- that's worth it. But after driving for a couple more months, it goes away almost completely. I tried to go step-by-step without the shims in place, trying my patience, and on my car, it just wasn't working for me. Super annoying. Shim shim shim, and these things are nearly perfect.
