These work reasonably well, I found the magnet strong enough to hold it sufficiently to the side of my metal storage cabinet I have next to my workbench. It seems like the holes for the bits that use friction to hold the bits in are a little inconsistent because some bits were a little loose, some fit perfectly and some took a little pull that would pull the entire strip away from the metal cabinet to pull out. I doubt there is that much difference in my bits, but perhaps it is enough to be causing this, I haven't measured the diameter of the different metal bits to see. It would have been better I feel for the bit holders to have magnets in the holders to hold the bits instead of the friction fit. There are a couple other design issues that I haven't figured out why they did it that way, but those don't really detract from the usability of these. They seem well made otherwise and I am glad I have them. The price is pretty decent compared to similar devices.

These are great. I have metal shelving, so they stuck on really solidly. I went through all my little parts drawers and found enough bits to almost fill them. In fact, I think they could have been designed to have double the bits, but as it is I can't say how often I will ever need any other bits besides the ones that I have. The holes for the bits are a little deeper than the bit holders you are probably familiar with (those ones that just hold 8), but that didn't cause a problem. The holes are round. This is not going to hold all your assorted bits if it is hanging upside-down. But if they are vertical or horizontal they should stay put. The strip is magnetic, but the bit holders do not magnetize to the bits. The plastic that holds them is mostly stiff. It is not a rubber material but it does have a little give and some texture so that the bits stay put.

It seems like every screw box these days comes with a bit for you to use while you use their product. This leads to multiple bits of all sorts laying around with no home. Saw these and instantly wanted to give it a try. Excellent product, you wont be disappointed. Each rail, has multiple slots for bits of all sizes. Even the small stubby ones fit. Im glad its magnetic and fits in my tool box drawers perfectly. Only slight complaint would be the translucent red and blue. Most boxes are a powder coated gloss red and blue. If they could get these coated with the right colors they would match. 5/5 would buy these if you have lots of bits that need a home.

I picked up the DIY bug a few years ago. It grabbed me hard and hasn't let go. I learned very quickly that having the right tools, and having them accessible, is one of the keys to success. I have a lot of driver bits that have come with various tools, but I end up losing a few out of every set, and so I have a bunch of untethered bits floating around. I hadn't even thought of finding a solution until I saw this listing, and when I did I had to get them. These are really nice bit organizers! The magnets are very strong and hold to whatever surface well. The bits are held on by friction, and the holders are made of a rubbery material that holds them well. Having multiple bars with multiple holders makes it easy to organize by type. So far I'm on my way to filling these.Overall I'm very happy with these bit holders. They help organize all of the bits I've had floating around for ages. The magnets hold them against a vehicle, or metal shelf, or whatever metal surface I'm working near.I recommend!

I use a lot of different bits, from drivers to drill bits, etc. I generally utilize a flip top storage organizer to keep them in one place, but I get so frustrated at times trying to locate that ONE specific driver (usually the 10MM. haha) When I came across this, I was intrigued and really liked the idea of having the most highly used bits organized in a manner that can be easily located. Here are my thoughts:The bit holders arrived quickly and were packaged well for what it is. They do not come with anything other than the bit holders. Should be pretty simple to figure out. They appear to be well made and look like they are solid. But when I went to test the magnetic portion (on the back of the unit) I was not very excited to see the empty bit holders NOT hold themselves to the side of a toolbox or even a refrigerator. Now, to be clear, my plan was to put these in a toolbox to hold the above mentioned drivers. But, empty, these holders do not stay in place. But wait, there is more. The second thing that really hurt my heart was the sizing of the holes for the ¼ shank bits. The holes are too large, bits just flop around in them. Sigh.I am going to try and salvage the design, maybe 3D print some new holders, replace the magnetics…see if it can be utilized.Unfortunately, this is a 2 star for idea and the thought, but the execution fell flat. I really, REALLY wanted to like this.

Purchased to have all my bits in some sort of order. I’m about to order another set because I didn’t realize I had more bits to organize. Definitely recommend this product.!!

Good product. Sturdy and without any defect. Quality materials. Strong magnet. Functions smoothly. My only suggestion would be that the bit holder blocks be made of a harder plastic and that they are also magnetic.
