How to make noodles?
Step 1: Knead into dough (The radio of flour and water is 10:3), IMPORTANCE: Not too wet!!! Make dough and cut into small pieces.
Step 2: Power on the machine, rotate left to the pressing dough mode, start pressing dough from low gear. Repeat pressing the dough from low gear to high as your requirement.
Step 3: The upgraded knob has 9 settings, 0.3-5 mm adjustable dough thickness. The thickness dial only turns one way. If you use 3/4 gear to press the dough, it will cut the 2.5mm round noodles;If you use 5/9 gear to press the dough, it will cut the 2.5mm linguine.
Tips:
a. Continuing to lightly flour the dough each time you feed it though will make it work flawlessly.
b. Use some cooking oil on your dough and rest the dough to prevent it from sticking to the machine.

This worked pretty well for me. It feels pretty sturdy and looks decent enough to be on the counter for a little while. Seems a little on the high end price wise overall I would recommend.

I'm a newbie to making my own pasta and noodles but was excited to give it a try. The quality of the machine itself feels decent. It feels sturdy and durable. Assembly was fairly straight forward, instructions are included. I found making adjustments weren't always easy or smooth. Maybe the problem is a me problem since I am new to this and it will get better with time but I was left a bit discouraged and not sure I'd be motivated to keep at it.The SHILINTONG electric pasta/noodle maker is a but pricey for the quality.
