The latch is just fine if your Emtek entrance lockset is a knob type, mine however is a set of iron levers and so requires a latch with a stronger spring which Emtek no longer provides because now the lever types use a spring in the trim kit so when communicating with the factory you will be told" this is the only latch available." So the levers on my door droop sadly in the afternoon sun. They can't be retrofitted with different trim plates.

I ordered what I thought was brass from the product pictured. Seeing how there was no specification as to what finishes could be chose from my assumption was it was brass.

Product is NOT as shown. It does NOT have brass parts. It had nickel finish. Not satisfied.
