This is a good no-frills halter. Not going to last many generations but it fits one of our ponies just fine and will make a good back-up halter. Hardware looks OK but is not stainless - appears to be a coated metal of some sort so make sure your horse doesn't start chewing on it.

These are larger than expected and it didn't take long for one to break in the cross ties. It should have held but being a breakaway halter maybe I should have changed halters for the cross tie session. Just assume they are larger than you think.

Bought a cob size and it was way too big. It might fit a Clydesdale. My daughter had already written the ponies names on the halters so we cannot return.

Ordered standard Horse size for my big headed horse. The actual halter is way larger than Horse. It is almost a warmblood size. Will have to punch more holes and size it down.

This is a nice little halter. Most importantly was the breakaway leather strap on the top for those just in case situations. I keep replacements for those at hand at all times. It is well made and fits just right. Sadly it does not come with a matching lead rope.

I got the cob size for an 1100lb qh mare. The nose was huge, I had to adjust to the smallest holes on everything. But the fit was still odd.The nylon was also the super thin cheap kind that you find on much less expensive halters. For what I paid, I absolutely would not buy this halter ever again.

Good quality breakaway halter. The warmblood size fits my 17h warmblood perfectly.
