When I un packed it the tachometer did not have selector switch for 4-6-8 cylinder

The company in their Infinite wisdom removed the switch to program the tachometer but failed to upgrade the instructions on how to program the tach for the right number of cylinders. I like a good puzzle but this is ridiculous.

Instructions that came with rpm gague are incomplete. Additional instructions to select number of cylinders were received from vendor customer service, whom was responsive and timely. To set cylinders, long press face button to enter cylinder set mode. Double tap from there to select 4, 6 or 8 cylinders, delay after set to add to memory. RPM gague seemed to fail after successfully setting cylinders, it worked erratically for 15 seconds then indicated zero. Ordered replacement gague which also appeared to fail in the same way. RMP gague seems incompatable with HEI distributor for some reason.Customer service was responsive and timely. LED lighting worked as advertised.

Unit was built and sent missing the selector switch for setting the engine cylinder setting . No QC at all , see picture
