These make a big difference in quieting and reducing shock on an Excalibur. I have the Bulldog 400 and yes these will rob minimal fps from your crossbow, but so worth it. I also added the air brakes which I highly recommend, that seals the deal on noise and recoil.Not cheap adders but you get what you pay for !

The ex-shox flew off the first time that I shot my crossbow after waiting 24 after installation to test. I don't notice much of a difference in sound with the remainder of the parts installed. I wouldn't install this system if I did it over again. These crossbows are going to have some sound.

These items do take some of the noise out of my crossbow. On about the 10th shot, however, crossbow flung off the ex-shox. I applied them as instructions stated and left the bow alone for over 24 hours.Still, pretty happy with the other pieces.

This system was easy to install on my crossbow. It went together as per instructions very well and helped with the higher level of noise this entry level Excalibur crossbow produced.
