Float brass as should be, nice quality unit. Ohms reading arm sweep empty and full per factory spec, 10 full and 70 empty. If do need adjust can be done outside by adding adjustable resistor in series to give less guage reading, or in parallel to give more guage reading. I added 100 ohm pot in parallel to tweak in higher guage reading to better match gas level.

It did need adjusting to actually read correctly on my fuel gauge. It was reading empty with a half tank. I’ve heard of people continuing to reorder these senders until it reads correctly but if you drain your tank and only add in 1/4 tank of fuel back in you can remove it from the tank and make small adjustments until your float reads correctly on your gauge. Slowly tweak the float arm until you get the reading you want. You can make it exact so when it reads E it’s empty, or you can make E have 1-3 gallons left. My tank holds 18 gallons, and I drained the tank and added 6 gallons back in. This won’t reach the fuel senders opening so it can be removed. Adjusted to 1/4 reading, giving myself an extra 1.5 gallons at Empty. Probably not the correct adjustment from Plymouth but now I know my gauges actual increments. I also refilled the tank to 1/2, 3/4 and full of fuel while at the pump, and stopped and waited to notate each gauge reading. Hope this helps someone.
