This hat is great for early morning dog walks on frosty days. It's a little big on me (I have a small head), but luckily it's somewhat adjustable (could be better, but at least it's not falling off my head). I like a bill because I'm photosensitive and I don't like rain getting on my glasses, and there aren't many other WARM hats with a bill. I fully embrace my inner dorkiness while wearing this; after accepting there's no way I'm gonna look cool, I can just enjoy its comfort. It's a bit wonky when you put the flaps up (again, embrace the dorkiness....).

I really like hats and wear them all the time, but when it's cold out, I typically reach for a beanie/stocking hat. However, I still like to have a bill to help provide some shade from midday sun when working outside in the cold weather. This one fits the bill. Now, it's definitely not as warm as my typical stocking hat, but it's definitely warmer than my regular hats. It fits well and is comfortable. Highly recommend.

This hat is the ideal solution for staying warm and dry in cold weather. The fleece lining adds an extra layer of insulation, keeping your head and ears cozy even on the coldest days. The waterproof outer material ensures that rain and snow won’t seep through, making it a reliable option for all types of winter conditions. The snug fit keeps the hat securely in place, preventing any discomfort or slipping. The adjustable strap under the chin ensures that the hat stays on, without being too tight or uncomfortable.

This hat is a great choice for cold (but not freezing) morning walks. It’s lightweight, well-crafted, and made with high-quality materials. The seams are neat, and everything about it feels solid.Let’s be honest: hats with earflaps aren’t exactly high fashion, but this one manages to keep the dork factor to a minimum. The flaps are lined and cushy without being bulky, and the fit is excellent—it covers my ears snugly without feeling tight. The strap does a great job of holding the flaps down, even in a breeze.I can confirm that it kept my ears warm and comfortable during a 45-minute walk in 45-degree weather. Based on that, I’d guess it’ll work well down to about 40 degrees, but for anything colder, I’d probably switch to my trusty old fluffy hat. All in all, I’m confident I’ll get plenty of use out of this one.

This hat is well made from apparently quality materials. I didn't give it a full 5 stars first because I am stingy with my 5 star reviews, and second, there are a couple tiny improvements that would make it better. First, the ear flaps are capable of being flipped up and out of the way when things warm up, but the panels at the back of the hat which help to give it a good fit with the ears down are not so compliant when flipped up. I mean it works fine, but there is not a natural seam to flip up to make it a truly convertible style. Also a little cheaper was how the drawstings attach, which is just a tack on flaps for the chin strap, with a separate elastic drawsting for the head circumference. So not quite as adjustable as a real integrated rope that wraps all around head and loops down to chin. Also, I doubt this would work for huge noggins. I have a medium sized skull and would not want this hat any tighter, although it does have a nice fitted profile. All in all, a pretty good effort I would buy again if the price were right.

This hat’s as advertised. Covers my ears and back of the head. The fleece is very soft and keeps me very warm. Wore it in the rain and it’s waterproof. Not even a little damp inside. The hat has a little cord in the back to make it more snug and to fit smaller heads better. The material has a little stretch in it so it could possibly fit a larger headed person, not by much though. The stretch is very little. You can tighten the cord under your chin for an extra secure fit for them windy days. I really liked that it has a visor for the falling snow, helps keep the snow out of my face while shoveling/snow blowing. The only con for me is that it fits lower than a normal cap and tends to push my glasses down a little. Overall good value for a really warm, waterproof winter hat.

This cap arrived quickly, was well packaged and undamaged. The material and construction are good. It was nicely packaged in a box suitable for gift wrapping. The material is slightly stretch, which provides a pleasantly secure fit. Ear flaps have a chin cord attached, but both can be folded into the cap for use without the ear flaps. The large brim provides good protection for eye glasses, keeping the rain drops away.Would I buy this again, Yes.I use Amazon reviews every time when considering a product purchase. Here is my rating scale:5 Stars: Excellent product, no hesitation recommending or using.4 Stars: Good product with some limitations, could be improved.3 Stars: Fair product, can be made to work if your put your mind to it.2 Stars: Not very functional.1 Star: Don’t bother, it might even be painful.
