I purchased Jameco's LED grab bag because I wanted to add some LEDs to my parts collection for my electronics hobby. I guess I had nothing in particular in mind, but wanted an interesting assortment of new parts to play with and explore. The grab bag offered a nice "handful" of 7-segment displays of virtually every color imaginable, one big & one small dot/matrix displays, three "+/- 1" displays, and a tiny "2-square/bar" displays, and one big LCD/fan-control module (that I'm not sure what to do with). I weighed the contents (without packaging) and it totaled 26 grams. The accompanying photos show everything I received.Overall, I feel that I accomplished my goal of adding to my collection...while paying a little more than its worth...probably $10-12 would be fair. A bit of my purchase was pure curiosity and the anticipation of whatever might be sent to me.It was fun wondering what I'd receive and then I got to spend part of the evening looking up and downloading data sheets, while learning about a few displays I'd never seen before. I don't regret the purchase, but I'm glad I didn't order two! I guess it's a little like playing a lotto or scratch-off game. Spend a few dollars, have a little fun, but don't expect any huge returns.**In my 9/21/2023 order I received:[1] ARIRA 800-00013-20 LCD display/fan control[1 each] SBM-2388ASRG (8x8), LTP-757G (5x7), HLMP-2400 (2-square) dot matrix displays[multiple] LN526RA, LN5643R-11, LTC-5348G-03, LTC-2623G-07 multi-digit 7-seg. displays[multiple] XDUR11C, MAN5460, 5082-7621, 5082-7626, LTS-547AHR, LTS-315AG,LTS-2301AE, LTS-2301AWC all single-digit 7-segment displays.

I have seen this grab bag for a long time and was hoping that someone would provide images on what they got so I could decide if I wanted it. However, no one has written a helpful review anywhere. It is a decent selection of displays. I got 22 different types including LCDs (see picture). All of the displays appear new and only a couple had bent leads (probably when being placed in the foam). However, there is not as much variety as shown in the sample image. I found all of the datasheets online by looking up the part number printed on the display (except the LCDs).Of the 52 total displays, 33 were single digit displays (14 different types). 4 (1 type) were an overflow segment display and all of the others were 7 segments (no larger segments). One of the main reasons I bought this was because I thought I would get a wide variety, including at least one single digit with more than 7 segments.I did not get any 2 digit or 4 digit displays. I did get 6 (2 types) of 3 digit 7 segment displays, but for one of the 3 digit displays, one segment of the middle digit does not work. I got 4 (2 types) of 5*7 dot matrices which I like. I got 3 (2 types) of bar displays and 4 (1 type) of display with four LEDs in a square under a shaded cover. The 2 LCDs (same type) are unfortunately not as awesome as I initially thought. They are part of a custom 5 speed fan control kit, with almost no information besides the layout and how to connect the fan and power source (not exactly useful to me).I am giving this 4 stars because it is a variety pack and a gamble so it is exactly as described. I simply did not expect so many single digit 7 segment displays, and thus not 5 stars.
