My original wiper linkages locked up. I think the lubricant has been long gone and decided to weld itself at the spindles.This item went in easily and seems to have worked well over the last...year or so.

Perfect fit for 2011 Silverado.The wipers became very slow then eventually stopped working. A common problem with this vehicle is the wiper assembly seizing. Dealer price for the part was $300. Amazon price of $200. Received the part in less than 24 hours.Replacement is simple. About an hour in total.

Part worked great! I believe this is genuine original equipment. Took care of sluggish wiper issue.Installation took me just over an hour but I had all the necessary tools at hand. All fasteners are metric. When removing the plastic cowling, please note there is a plastic push in trim fastener just to the passenger side of the passenger wiper post that will need to be pulled out. When reinstalling the cowling, I recommend installing this fastener first as the remaining fasteners allow for some "adjustment" in position but this one does not. The biggest issue s working the old assembly out of the cowling space which is accomplished by rotating the transmission/motor assembly after it is unbolted (just 3 fasteners) and guiding out the passenger side first. New assembly will go in in reverse of how the original came out.

Part was broken right out of the box.Had to send for the mounting tab to be welded before we could install on customers truck. Very poor design.
