You're going to have to figure out your own mounting solution using the oem brackets but if you're looking to install gauges you should probably know how to drill holes in plastic.The finish is very wavy, sort of what you would find on a storage bin lid. You'll need to fill it if you want to paint it with a flat finish, though in its current state its perfectly installable and matches the 2.5rs interior at least a little bit.Test fit the gauges and they fit snug but without force, overall, best value for money in terms of gauges in a GC.

I had to return the item only because I ordered the wrong part. But it actually looked like a solid product. I considered modifying it to fit my car because it looked really good and it can fit 3 - 52mm gauges easily. It's low profile makes it unobstructive to the windshield yet it had a lot of room inside to tuck away the wiring and other stuff you'd need to install the gauges.

I own a 2000 Subaru impreza 2.5RS and this fit perfectly in the pocket center for me but the material is a little on the cheap side and the texture was completely different from the rest of the dashboard plus there isn't anything to hold it down so just drill it down or use a double sided tape but in the end it did its job

It fits with a little coaxing. Not perfect, but a good start for a gauge pod. Beats leaving them dangling everywhere.
