Just offering some information for folks that use reviews like I do. There’s a lot of aftermarket parts available for everything these days and pellet grills are no exception. When my grill started signaling the “empty hopper” alarm nonstop I was able to fool the detector with a piece of foil and a strip of duct tape. This stopped the noise, but I eventually decided to replace the sensor and have things working like they should. My grill is about five years old now (stamped 022019 by serial number) and this sensor was an exact fit and is working perfectly in my GMG Daniel Boone Prime. My grill is powered by a 12v converter that plugs into a 110v wall receptacle and has Wi-Fi capabilities and a window in the door. Hope this info helps you figure out if this electric “eye” will fit your GMG.

My husband uses his Smoker every week. He heard a beeping sound from the smoker and looked on the website for the cause. Determined it was this part and installed it quickly and Smoker works perfectly.

No beeper! My smoker sensor went out and was beeping constantly. This sensor worked great to get my smoker working again-quietly!
