If you're new to the hobby (which statistically speaking you probably are if you're looking on Amazon), $95 might seem like a lot for an airsoft gun. It isn't. It's actually remarkably cheap for a gas blowback pistol, so I decided to cheap out and get one instead of the more expensive (but reputable) Tokyo Marui Hi Capa. This was not a good decision. The TL:DR version is this gun is inaccurate as all hell, a gas hog, and the front sight falls off easily as it isn't screwed in place unlike most TM-spec Hi Capas, it's simply friction fit (and a rather loose fit at that).I have a much heavier WE-Tech Hi Capa with a 6" slide that can expend more than two full magazine's worth of ammo before the magazines need to be recharged with gas. This thing struggles to get through one; sometimes it runs out of gas with 4-5 BBs left in the magazine. Same exact mags and everything. This gun does have quite a nice blowback to it; it kicks harder than most other Hi Capas I've used, and that's possibly part of the problem. It almost certainly uses a lot of gas to kick that hard. If you like snappy GBBPs and aren't terribly worried about performance, this might actually be a decent buy for you as it does have a decent feel when you shoot it.The front sight post is friction-fit on. Most Hi-Capas these days screw the front sight post in. I assumed it was screwed in, or at least friction-fit properly, and the front sight fell off within the first day of use and I never found it. It looks like it's probably compatible with standard TM-spec front sights but I don't have an extra one on hand to check. If you do decide to get this gun and you don't plan on changing the sights out, put a little dab of super glue underneath the front sight post to keep it in place.A bigger problem for me is the accuracy... or lack thereof. Out of the box, this gun was shooting 6" groups... at about 20 feet. I cleaned and polished the barrel and that did tighten it up a little bit, but it still definitely underperforms compared to other gas pistols on the market. It'll do for backyard plinking but I wouldn't invest in this if you're a more competitive airsofter unless you plan on replacing basically everything in it (and even then, just save a little more for a WE-Tech or a Tokyo Marui Hi Capa). It would require a lot of work (and better parts... which means money) to bring this gun's performance up to par.The externals all seem TM-spec, and it does take all of my TM-spec magazines (WE-Tech, KJW and TM), although as I said it doesn't always manage to shoot a full magazine before running out of gas (which is definitely a problem with the gun and not the magazines as they work just fine in my other guns). I haven't disassembled it yet to see if the internals are TM-spec but I would imagine they probably are. I might update this when I do get around to disassembling it. If there's an easy fix to the problem of it using up a ton of gas (maybe the flow valve needs to be adjusted) then that would solve one of the major issues with this gun.
