This guitar stand has a cool design, but there are a few things that could be improved. The instructions were super easy to follow, and it took me about 25 minutes to put it together. It came with all the tools I needed. The shelf is 13 inches deep, 27 inches wide, and 47 inches tall.It can hold up to 7 guitars, but my Rickenbacker bass guitar is too big for it. I managed to squeeze it in on the end by tilting it with the headstock hanging out the side, but that’s not ideal. The back bar that holds the spacer arms isn’t padded, and it could potentially damage the guitar neck. I like the top shelf with the wood grain, but it looks like it’s made of laminated particle board, which isn’t the best quality. I was really disappointed to see some of the parts had scratches and chipped paint. It’s pretty compact for the amount of storage it provides, but that comes at a cost of having very little clearance between the guitars and the beams. I’ve accidentally bumped the beams and guitars when I’ve taken them out. I think this guitar rack is best suited for electric guitars. The little clearance makes it difficult to get my acoustic and classical guitars safely in and out. For me, that’s not a big deal since I only have four instruments, but it’s something to keep in mind.Overall, I’m pretty happy with this value. It looks great and keeps my instruments and gear nicely organized and displayed. The only downside is that the quality isn’t great, and it doesn’t fit my bass guitar.

If I could give this guitar rack 10 stars, I would. As soon as we put it together, which took about 20 minutes, I was online ordering another. This saved us so much room, it was startling! The guitars are a little close, so if you're super precious about your guitars' condition, you may want to think about only putting in three or four. The instructions aren't totally clear, so you have to go by the number of holes in each piece when putting it together. Also, one of the pictures in the instructions is supposed to be a close-up of the top, but from the perspective it looks like it's the full length of the rack. I hope that makes sense. The shelf on top is just big enough to hold some gear--and for under $50 I think this is an amazing deal!

Cheaply built, welds are all off, missing a variety of different bolts, would not trust this thing to hold my thousands of dollars in guitars, better off not buying at all. Save your money and build one yourself or buy a quality one at a guitar store. Seemed cheap and easy, now I know why.

This Whoonba (I had waaay too much fun saying that name!) guitar rack is a decent rack at the current list price. Although some of the pieces looked similar enough that one had to pause to make sure they were placed correctly, it was pretty easy to assemble. Some of the frame pieces were scuffed/scratched, though, which suggested a bit more packaging might be in order.I had to laugh a bit as I perused the product listing page since the marketing page as currently written tried to work in instruments into the description that would, for the most part, be too small or large for this rack -- aside from a baritone, most ukuleles would be too short to be stored securely in this rack, as would a standard mandolin (though an octave mandolin could fit). I have all those instruments, and this will not house 'em. And a standard cello is 5' tall -- -- I'm 5' 0.75" of an inch myself), and this rack is noticeably shorter I am, so it definitely won't hold one of those, either. But as a guitar or octave mandolin rack, it'll serve nicely. There is foam on the bottom and on the instrument dividers but not on the back, and to ensure that instruments don't get scratched, I think the inclusion of foam would be appropriate here. I think I'm going to apply some thick felt there at the very least.. It's also worth noting that the 'wood top' is actually two pieces placed together during assembly, not one solid piece that spans the whole top. Most of the product photos show an item like a record player placed in the center, so potential customers can't see that, and the photo that doesn't have a strategically placed item there doesn't show enough of the top to make it clear that it's two pieces up against each other, not one. That's not necessarily a deal-breaker, especially considering the current Overall, though, it's the kind of rack I'd expect at the current list price, and it will definitely serve my needs. Granted, it won't hold seven guitars if some are acoustic (it'll hold seven electrics, though). But I don't have seven acoustic guitars/guitar bodied octaves (yet), so it'll hold my current mix of electric and acoustics just fine. It's functional, and it definitely will look more polished than a bunch of individual stands scattered around the room.

I couldn’t believe the size of the box that arrived for this stand, it’s a masterclass in how to efficiently package an item that requires assembly. Similarly, assembly was easy, with pretty clear instructions (just make sure you use the right screws, and put the foam on). I got this together in less than 15 minutes, using the tools provided. Nice manufactured wood top, it as the only part that required a bit more effort (I had to loosen some bolts and retighten to get all of the bolts in place). But once together, it’s quite sturdy and handsome.Guitars sit upright, which is more space-effective than the usual stands where the guitars are at a slight angle. Foam protects the neck and body of the guitar, although I wish there was more foam on the cross bar section since sometimes the neck rests against it, so I may add some myself at some point, but since the guitars generally sit straight up, it’s a small thing. Most of my guitars sit nicely, a couple with odd bodies need finagling, but ultimately it works fine. I was able to put 5 electrics plus a dobro and a lap steel on it, and the guitars stay put. Just be careful when removing the guitars that you don’t hit the headstock on the wooden shelf above.I put mine in the corner of my studio, where the guitars are out of the way, and I appreciate the shelf for placing picks, percussion toys, and straps. Great value.
