Each halter is made of over 16 feet of 100% nylon web, double sewn and triple-thick. It's 100% nylon thread is sewn in a diamond tack, design to give the halter form and rigidity for a superior fit. It is dramatically stronger than stitching in a single line or with a conventional bar tack. Five solid brass eyelets attached in burn holes give the halter a double wall of protection against eyelet fray. The three double-welding rings, two custom stress point squares and one double bar head buckle are designed to sit much flatter on the horse's head and eliminate any contact irritation. The 1D Halters and Arabian Halters come with a solid brass tip which makes buckling easier than ever before. It also gives the distinctive look that makes it a Hamilton Halter. Love their products. Love that I could get yearling size. Love the ease of this model for getting on and off my rowdy donkey. Ordered purple. When I got it, it looked a little sus because the purple nylon didn’t look like I had seen in stores., but I wasn’t too worried about it as my need for it was urgent. Now that I’ve had some time I can tell it’s definitely not right (and verified at a TSC that their purple doesn’t usually look like this). It does appear to be a pink that wasn’t dyed properly to purple or a bad dye batch. If you look at the pic you can sort of see what I am talking about. I don’t believe there was any false advertising or bad intentions on sellers part, but you should be aware if you need purple for show or to match gear. Otherwise function is fine. Just a little sloppy looking for my OCD. 😂

I bought this for one of my mini donkeys. She is about 250lbs and it fit perfect after adding another hole to snuggle it up.

I ordered this product specifically because I have an older one that is really good quality, with brass grommets in the holes, and solid brass for the other hardware as well. This one has plain punched holes that are too small, and brass plated hardware. This new version is just an ok halter. The quality is comparable to many other brands that are much less expensive. Disappointing.

It is a little big but to be expected because she is a new weanling just out of the foal size. It seems to be very comfortable for her and she leads well on it. I love the color of this halter and it did not scare her like the hot pink color one did. I know it will last and that I will enjoy working with her using it until she is the next size up which I already got same color. I highly recommend it.

I ordered the weanling 200-300 in Blue, I love it! It's truly royal blue! Made to last and great quality. Very vibrant! But.... There's not matching leadrope so I returned it! I'm a stickler for matching, I did however purchase the same halter in black! I love this product!

Bought this for about a 9-10 hand shetland pony & it fits him fine. He is a tough tofit and I have trouble finding a actual pony halter. (there is yearling, small horse, etc)I like the nose adjustment to give him a little looseness and the clip under headstall makes it easy on easy off. With our pony the faster you can move in putting something on him the better!!! Hamilton always makes a good quality halter....can't go wrong with their halters no matter what size or style.
