Had ordered this in hopes it would fit my donkey but it did not. This product is definitely for horses only. Love the color and the material it was made of.

Great fit. The only thing I was concerned about is the metal alongside his cheeks. The metal has a sharp edge that rubbed his cheek bone. Probably a result of when the metal was cast and I don't believe it is in all halters so most likely a fluke. I covered it with moleskin and it works fine for my purposes.

I have a large standard donkey and this is the first halter that fits perfectly.

Regular halters would leave sores on my donkeys if we had to leave the halter on for a couple of days. These are made to fit donkey's head shape which is different from horses. We have not had any problems since using this halter.
