Your cart is empty.A heater core is a radiator-like device used in heating the cabin of a vehicle. Hot coolant from the vehicle's engine is passed through a winding tube of the core, a heat exchanger between coolant and cabin air. Fins attached to the core tubes serve to increase surface for heat transfer to air that is forced past them, by a fan, thereby heating the passenger compartment.

Even though the fit wasn't perfect as the OEM the core was pretty easily manipulated to work as needed. So as far as saving money by ordering this part, all around it worked pretty good.

After hours of pulling my dash apart and getting the old one out. I installed this heater core into my 99 Dodge. I noticed the swivel fittings where pretty junky. The pre bent piping was not even close to being right. Anyways got it all together and instantly started puking antifreeze out of the swivel fitting. Don't buy this.
