Wouldn't recommend a different meter. It works for anything I need from 24v to 1500 vdc systems

The product description I read stated "Manufacturer: HIOKI USA CORPORATION" with no mention of where it is actually produced. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the meter is clearly labeled "made in Japan", and the build quality is evident.The user manual is even printed in Japan (February 2021, Revision 1). Which I take as evidence that they don't just produce parts in Japan and assemble somewhere else.
