A great product for applying tension to your volleyball or badminton nets top and bottom rope. The clamp will accommodate up to 3/8-inch diameter rope. Polyester or nylon braided rope type rope works the best.

This device simplified tensioning the wallyball net because it eliminated the need for tying sailor knots.

Bought these to secure rope tension holding a volleyball net. In theory these sounded amazing, in practice they were worthless. There is no spring mechanism or anything useful to prevent the rope from moving in both directions. These are simply two pieces of metal with an axle so one piece can move, no spring mechanism…I ended up using a bulkier ratchet strap setup but at least it works despite the complications of sand in gears or winding up the straps for storage.Shipping was fast so I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
