This is an amazing diff. I bash mine hard on 6s with 2.8's and it has held up amazing to everything. You must get metal shims and this diff cup requires extra shims than usual to get a tighter backlash. You need to get 5mm x 10mm steel shims to fit correctly. I needed to add 1mm thick on each side in the diff. After this it was bulletproof and helps keep the front end down and control is way better than any slipper I ever tried and has held up to way more abuse as well. I only need 40k fluid in mine to do pretty good wheelies still and is the best upgrade I have done to my slash 4x4 to improve it's handling. I would have given 5 stars if they provided steel shims with this or at least warn you that it will be required or you will blow your spider gears!!!

I installed this in my slash 4x4 last month. I love the performance. I can do wheelies on my slash 4x4. This does a good job of transferring power from the wheels that slip to the wheel that has traction.

This has basically made my Traxxas Slash Ultimate's center diff bulletproof. I've bashed the hell out of my machine for a few months and melted the stock plastic housing from the stock Velineon motor on 3S. This was a great replacement and fits like stock. Doing just fine with a 54T steel spur gear.
