Noticed a little bit of wear on the plastic one. This is a perfect replacement and the weight difference is negligible. Nice upgrade.

This paired with the Hot Racing Ez Mount Differential Cover is a must have! This eliminates any slop at all and holds a much better mesh for your pinion and spur gears! Worth the money

Melted the center differential on my Mojave and it was fused to the plastic differential mount. I upgraded the center differential and the mount to better handle heat. But now that I run a thicker fluid it doesn't even get hot. Gives me lots of comfort though knowing that it's all metal and don't have to worry about it melting again.
