They are comfortable and works well on the outer carrier vest. The only issue is that it feels a bit small. I have to tighten up my outer carrier to make this be able to loop around. Overall though it works well. When it's brand new it's stiff but after wearing it for a bit. It loosens up a bit

3rd set ,3rd pattern. I love these. Very comfortable. There's even enough room to run tubing and cable inside them while wrapped around your shoulder straps. Will buy more for my other kits

I wear them with level 4 plates and they are night and day of comfort. They make it easy to wear for long periods.

I have an all black plate carrier bc that’s all tacticon had left so I’m trying to add some thing in the black camo for the look and camo I really wanted, def gives good support, fits very well and looks great

I had these on my kit for a few months and they really make a difference. I’m an 11b so I wear kit a lot. For $15 it’s a great deal. It’s just thin foam, but the pads help distribute the weight across more area on your traps. I even put these on my Taps system for a day and they helped.

I got these to put on a similarly-colored messenger bag strap, just to cushion it a bit more. It works great! I know that's not the intended purpose, but it's what worked for me. :)

I expected a little better quality but the product seems fine. Underneath the uppermost layer of nylon, you can see the back side of the opposing layer of nylon through the modular slits, exposing some of the white backside, even if it is off-white from the print. I would've liked to have seen another layer of material in between the two layers, not just for color, but also for durability as you use the Molle feature over time. The fabric also has a real thin feeling, which has some advantages, but I just hope those slits hold together from the laser cutter. The last complaint I have is it could use some extra padding in between the EPE foam and soft mesh below it. It's not bad feeling, but I just thought it would feel a little softer. A gambeson textile filled with memory foam would probably be a perfect addition. The stitching is also fine even though I think it should have double stitching. It does feel slightly cheap, but considering it was $12, I'll deal with it.Now that my constructive criticism is out of the way, I'll follow with saying that the product does indeed function very well as it is supposed to do. My plate carrier brand does not make should pads, and the plate carrier uses a thin rubber construction which probably won't feel so well after extended use, so this product was perfect for me. The should pads are actually a perfect fit, as they really hug onto the straps tight and snug. The size is perfect as well, with the running length being the exact size I need, and the width is very comfortable and ideal. The height is also good as it's not bulky, so it's pretty flush with the body should you want to conceal your plate carrier under a T-shirt.The camouflage pattern looks great and dark. It's not a perfect match with my plate carrier, but I honestly can't even really notice it has any differences at all. I actually think the print looks better than what my plate carrier uses. I certainly needed this product so much in my life. This extra strength and comfort with camouflage on top makes me happy to own and helps me feel more complete.

I ordered these and and a super-thick pair of pads (designed for a shoulder video camera) for a friend who occasionally carries a 50 pound backpack. I assumed I’d be returning these, but he said the thicker pads felt awful, and these were great.He says these are wide, durable, have excellent velcro and take the pain away. There you go!
