I tapped the I D and got faint threads in spots.Checked with my snap gauge and I D was out by18 thou.

Deep scratches, going to change the size taking them out. Just wish a local place sold this so I could see it before I buy it. Disappointed big time.

This arrived exactly as described - Its an extruded aluminum tube of the dimensions listed. Since the shipping was more than the item price, I was glad that when I ordered 2 of these that I only paid one shipping fee - the same as the shipping fee for one item.The finish is smooth but not polished as it arrives, but it appears that it should be easy to polish. The end cuts were clean.
