The handle includes rubber inserts to eliminate hands from slipping, under all conditions. The natural, ergonomic grip absorbs each impact and evenly distributes vibration to reduce shock. They are very simple and I'm not sure how long they'll last, but I can't say they feel cheap either. I feel the price at the time I bought them was fair.
